Wood plantation shutter: this term refers to a type of shutter in which framed panels of fixed louvers are made of wood. The louvers within the frame are moved by a rod that is attached on the outside of the louvers. The up and down movement of the rod allows for light to enter the room or be blocked. The panel of louvers can be pulled back exposing the entire window.
